hey, i have a 94 camaro, i just got a tickit for not having the front license plate on. the front of the car is so pointy and narrow it would just look nasty putting a tag on it in the normal place. does anyone have any alternative mounting methods? preferably with pictures.

I guess you know they sell mounting brackets for front tags i also got a ticket for this once bunch of bs i think but the cop did tell me if i would of had it in the window i would of been fine

 

Where do you live.Do all states require a front license plate?

I got a ticket for this aswell, but Im pretty sure it was instead of a $200+ speeding ticket for going 63 in a 45....$75 but im still fighting it...the worst part was usually i put in the windshield but that day it wasnt there...

does anybody know if you need a front license plate in the front of the car or is it fine in the windshield for in New york State?

 

i got 2 tickets so far with no front license plate the first one was $75 and then the second one i got was $25, for the second one i had the plate in the window and the cop said it depends on the cop if he will give u a ticket with it in the front IL sucks!!

 

i believe u do need for 4 NY.the one thing i love about delaware is that u dont need one.LOL but i have my dale earnhardt on there bcuz there was already a spot on there becsue the car i bought was owned by a man from NJ and he had 2 have it so it was built in2 his custom body kit.see pic!!![sm=smiley36.gif]

 

its simple. just put it under the rear floor mat on either side. you can't see it and if the cop pulls you over you pull it out and show him. thats what i do on my camaro and what my dad does on his vette.
