i'm just about at the stage of my project where its time to do the chassis and paint, i was wondering what type of paint you guys would recommend to paint the chassis and firewall myself.

 

I painted my subframe in gloss black Rust Oleum and I plan to use it on the floorboards, rear end, and firewall.

 

for the firewall, i would use a rust primer and a gloss paint, a little less protection but it looks way better. for the underside, i would try and find some rubberized undercoating spray. its gives ita flat black appearance but holds up really well

for that rust oleum paint, does that stuff hold up really well, especially in the winter, i don't have a garage yet but will it hold up especially in the snow and stuff, or will it chip away.
