If it were my car I'd do this. It helps break up the color a little bit. Then I'd get some window tint on there.

It probably wouldn't cost more than $400 to have it painted professionally. I wouldn't use vinyl. You won't be happy with how it turns out. If you get it painted, the hood wont be an issue. They can just tape off everything but the scoop and spray it. That's what I would do. Along with some good window tint. That will really set it off!

thats what my dad says, hes done alot of vinyl in his day and vinyl anything is not the way to go its cheap but its to go to be true. my dad know body shop ppl but i cant really salvage my car for a week to get the hood painted, i need it for school and work. i agree tints would look bad *** but i dont want to be illegal, i dont need tickets on my budget and i cant afford the higher insurance, even with a v6 insurance for a 18yr old is high

Yeah my 1994 is costing me $126 a month for liability. I think it would be worth hitching a ride with someone for a week to get it painted. And as for window tint, you can tint the side windows as dark as 35% and the backs as dark as 5%. That's legal specifications.

Haha, you're trying too hard to make the car look like an SS.
