ok well i have a stock 01 3.8 camaro and im wondering if i could even have a chance aganist a 97 GMC seirra with a 5.7 vortec with a exhaust

Probably. My 04 silverado with the 5.3 ran best of 16.3 granted it was a crew cab. You should be at least a second faster.

socom-well i no the 5.3 have more HP but i think the older body was lighter and its a single cab

Camaro 69-its a Straight line
