Just bought a 99' z28. I just put a slp cat-back on it but other than that i'm all stock. My friend has a 97' cobra with a MAC cat-back, 4-10 gears and 18" rims with 295 tires. If I put 3-73 gears in my car with 17x11" wheels and 315 tires, what are my chances of taken him?

 

get the gears, and you'll spank him.

1st year of the LS1 right?? The Cobra should be no problem. Now if it was an 03-04, good luck, lol!!!!

 

Your car with gears and exhaust should be real close to a 13 flat. A 97 Cobra with exhaust and gears should be a 13.5 or so, so you should get him pretty easily if you get the gears, and as it stands right now you should still get him.

 

you will smoke him cobras are slow! unless its an 03-04 model.
