I've seen a Viper kit too

I forget what engine it had in it....

 

If it was me spendin the money for a kit car you know it would be the shelby cobra.

 

Wow.. i finally read this entire thread..... now i cant help but say something cause everyone else has and i gutted my cat last night so i could be faster then a viper in my tired 84 z28.. lucky for me i already had some extra power due to the blown out side of cat. now it is crazy fast..

This is an excellent thread though and good for all people to read.. Proves a couple things..
Smoking while giving birth does have negative results..
my signature no longer matters size does not matter// ladies should like that.
and there is no need to strive in life for a viper cause i ride a gutted cat like a witch and couldkill a viper.

Now that i have cleaned the **** from my pants chair and floor from lauphing so hard at this guys post i have honest true and dissapointing viper stories..

My fathers co-worker at laurence livormore labs in california for those who now what that is now the guy can afford a viper. anyways

5 years ago i was a senior in high school and to my surprise i was not the first to think of a chevy v8 in a datsun 240z... but i didn't let that stop me.. since i have built four diff ones one with 305 and t5one 350ci 350hp with muncie 4,, then another 350 out of a vet and finally in my pursuit to beat corvettes and vipers at scca solo tracks in california it was 383 with 486rwhp and aftermarket 6 speed..(NO CATS AT ALL IM SO DUMB I SHOULD HAVE PUT THOSE ON FOR MORE POWER)

Now i have raced that viper in each of these vehicle not only at the solo races but on the straight streat.. 305 got toasted i dont know what power it had cause it was right out of camaro..(yes i gutted a camaro for that one but i own one now and making up for my sins.) 350 with 350hp actually made it halfway through an intersection next to the viper i think he dropped cig in lap.. haha no i actually was running really good with that car.. mostely all the car was gutted to race.. as i shifted to second to stop the tire spin he in an airplane like motion moved away. and finally with 383 stroker 6 speed 9" rear built up and 12 in mean as mickey street/drag tires full coil overs, sway bars, 10 point cage and a lot of love the day finally came for me to detroy the viper.. right... no i jumped a full 6 inches ahead from the line with awesome traction,and slowly evened through third and when i hit 4th(mind you guys that know about cars and know about how fast i am going at this point it was on marked off part of (old McClellan AFB no longer a base,)runway not on public road. anyways in 4th the viper started creapingaway and to ruin my heart he won and we ended the race at around 160mphand he was 3 cars legnths ahead of me. Power wise i think i should have done better but my power curve must be off compared to the curve of the viper at the higher speed. and yes i have been blessed a couple time to be at a SCCA comp and have the viper club show up in trailers and roll out 12 vipers to run the course.. they are beautiful cars and can be beat with a heavy mod car mine was almost there but after it ate a tree i moved on to new things now that i am married and loving the broke and happy life i soon plan to upgrade my z28 and am going to use you guys a lot minus cat gut guy.

So i fart in this guys general direction and hope to never see him write again... though it is obvious that he has ispired a great thread that i think has been here longer then me and has beenvery entertaining to read withso much cracking up. That is my story and it is very true.. we should get this guy to race a hennesy(spelling?) viper.. he might need to ad another gutted cat..

 

this thread shall never die, although i do not beleive him i will give him a fighting chance because dodge is **** and chevy is the only thing my *** will crawl in. lol. wont even ride in a friends dodge because i dont want to walk home. forever live mullet loveing maro drivers.

what do you have aginst Mopars???

Sure camaros are great, but you cant show some respect the challenger, roadrunner, Charger, Demon, Cuda & others. Mopar had more muscle cars than any other car maker. doesnt mean you have to love them, but you should respect them. and the challenger beat the Z28 back in its day, And when it comes out again it looks like its going to do the same.....

dont get me wrong, I still love camaros. But show some respect.

 

Shoot my lawn mower is faster than that....
