i dunno, i feel like the emotion of fear can be completely absent. its not fear that keeps me from ramming my car into a building, its just the knowledge that I will die and the desire not to. doesnt mean its fear. in other words, its not like when im driving im constantly afraid of death. death is not what compells me to drive responsibly. I drive that way regardless, not dying is a perk
