Listen, OP, if you don't want to hear what we have to say, then go do some research of your own. When you see the specs on either of the new(er) Z06's, you'll inderstand why a 3800 with altered shift points and some exhaust work would lose to a monkey-driven vette.
I'll do the hard part for you. For the C5 Z06, you're looking at 405 horses in a 3200 pound car. In a C6 Z06, you've got 505 horses with slightly more than 3100 pounds. Either way, that corvette would have bent you over the table.
My guess is that none of this ever happened, and you're a troll. But that's just my guess.
