uh, you have it the wrong way ovulator the Lotus got a Toyota motor

your car really must not be running right then, or your neighbors car has mods. a Celica GTS is still slower than a 3.8 Camaro

 

no its just a gts stock with a turbo or something and i went for a ride and he peeled out all the way through 2nd gear. and we hit 100 in 3rd and its a 6 speed. he said it has a lotus motor in it (only year)????

 

the Celica never had a Lotus motor, ever. i'm guessing he's just bsing.

 

the GTS never came with a turbo [&:] theres ur problem right there. the GT-S has always been 180/130 in the new body style. However, at 11.5 compression, he is probably running like, 4 lbs of boost [8D]. I knew a kid who put a turbo kit on a GTS, made the car a little quicker, but only pulled it into the 14s from wherever it was before.

 

yeah i dont know much about them, hes prolly just blowin smoke lol... hey i told him to race the z28 lol...

 

now that would be a good race.

ok so we finally raced... right at the start he launched a little quicker than me but once i hit second i cought up left him about a car behind.. hit third... still ahead a car.. hit fourth he started catchin up to the point were i saw the front of his car out of the corner of my eye... then thats were we stopped... i think i could of done better... for some reason my 2nd to 3rd gear shift took me a sec.. oh and may i remind everyone my car isnt in perfect running condition.. my check engine light is still on... i think spark plugs.. or o2 sensor..
