the 306 is a very common bore.... yo ucome in here plugging ford and dont even know their usual mods? have owned and worked on mustangs. I came here because the 5.0 is pretty tired, and you will end up spending quite a bit to make it fast from its 15second starting point, and the GM cars which typically outpower the same year fords by quite a bit are getting pretty cheap. u guys all need to do some homework. hell, im the only one in here right now and ive already been able to prove that none of you know anything about what you are talking about.

I, myself own a pure stock civic. I know plenty of people in the civic forum who have modified civics, but no one is arguing that the domestics are crap.
American Muscles cars are always hitting 12s all day long while imports are running at high 13s and low 14s.
oh yea? I know my civic mods inside and even in my sleep. There is no simple swap that can take a 350.
You know whats funny, I'll put it out there and admit. I used to once thing, that if turboed my civic, with the weight ratio, i would raping mustangs all day. A lot of ignorant import owners think that. But they forget one small piece of the puzzle. its the torque that moves your car.
Even with your k20 motor swap, you won't walking over camaro with 350. The k20 Si are one amazing car, but they are barely in par with a Cobalt SS/SC or a Srt-4.
I love civics a lot, i know army solider now iraq, whose civic is dynoed at 400hp and close 300torque, and he can own mustangs and camaros all day. His car has tons of money and mods put into it

Now lets look at the wonderful gm, the number one worst design in history of automobiles was gm's 4 6 8 motor back in the day, so what does gm decide to put in the camaro that was suppose to be realsed in 07, the 4 6 8 motor that didnt work b4, thats real smart considering the production had to be postponed 2 years to 09, real smart general motors

dude a 2003 corvette u cant touch under 30 right now, i can find an 03 svt cobra out their for 18grand, that rapes the vette doors off STOCK, when it comes to fax buddy u dont know jack **** u think u do, but u have not a clue, do u even know the first motor that was in teh first vette? or y the yanko was so popular? u may think but u have no clue

foreignkid, post a vid of a 10 second streetable NA civic. we gave you one, and actually there are gobs of streetable 10 second fbodies. we gave u a vid, u give us one. I think ur full of crap. i havent seen a 10 second NA import, and if any were to get clsoe I would bet its nowhere near streetable
