No genious, enough not said. Look again. google is your friend. not all 427's were cast Iron. while we are at it, why was the Yenko so popular?

cause you sound like one of the wana be 7 second car guys, u dont even know the hp of a stock efi 5.0,

i hate gm but i know their stats

and i am 18 years old, learned everything from my father, and just did a 1988 bmw 325i m3 engine swap, and this kid's hauls ***, im pretty sure you could never do that engine swap, fixing cars is not 2 years in a college, its years of experiecne and you doing the work yourself, not reading how to do it in a book

kid, we DO understand that power and weight are both issues. alot of the more intense guys here gut their fbodies and get them below 3k lbs, stock import weights. do you realize how much it takes to put a high hp v8 into a small car? yes, that cobra does them both, which is why we like it. nobody said that heavy was better. im baffled as to why you are so stuck on this topic.

however, the cobra does something else you overlook: uses a large motor. bigger motors have a higher hp potential. its just a given. there is a reason top fuel cars dont run 4cyl turbos. you can only reliably make so much hp/liter. my motor as it sits is over 450bhp and its very comfortable. find me a 450hp NA 4cyl. you wont find it. you can only ever take out so much weight before there is nothing left to remove. but with the right motor platform you have a whole lot more options as far as how much power you make.
