This is a video that a friend of mine in the SSEi made. Im the one with the camaro. I have traction issues in 1st and 2nd gear. In the video you can see me going sideways cause im spinning lol. In the video is says all our mods. If i had traction i think it would be a good race. and they had one of those for sale a while back too, like july. and wanted 6grand if i remember rite.

 

Ya they are pretty fast. He has his SSEi all modded out. He's running the 2.9 pulley and they come with the 3.8 pulley, so hehasalot more boost than stock.And he has a bunch of other mods too. lol ya i need traction . Ya i spun some of 3rd too. lol i need traction bad

lol ya he won. but if i would of traction it would of been a good race. And im not the best driver since im only 16 with a m6

 

dont use that as a excuse, i jus turned 17, and my maro was a 5spd, and my ion is a 5spd, and my dad's vette is a 6spd with very short throw. i canshift better than both my mom and dad in all 3, and both them use to race(15+years ago tho)but they're both use to autos, and the stds they use to have they had to double clutch, and i always see them slip and do that all the time.


but i dont think im THAT good either. i know my mom use to be very fast at shifting, she had a couple 11 second cars and shifting is everything.

and if u were spinning going into gears. im thinking yerdecent at shiftin, u slip shifting or power shifting or what?

 

When i first started racing i wasnt that good and i would miss 4th(i would go into 2nd). But since ive raced more ive got better. I just shift like normal but faster.

 

i like to slip shift, i can be alot faster power shifting, but slip shifting is col lol. no clutch. it took me about 2hours to learn std, my camaro was my first car, was my bday present(even though it was my money that payed for it...), and was first car i ever drove, took bout 3 weeks to get use to it tho, where i didnt have to look at tach or look at shifter.

 

Ya i power shift some times. But i dont go real hard on my car. It was my moms car but she cant drive anymore, so they gave it to me.

i dont like to go hard on mine either, but i do sometimes(slip shifting, and i ride clutch on hill instead of braking. never gone thru a clutch yet tho.)
