i have a buddy who has an srt 4 that runs 13.4 n wants 2 race me all i have is headers y pipe magnaflow shift kit n intake do u think hell kill me?

 

if he legitimately runs 13.4 then probably. I dont think u will hit those times with ur listed mods unless u have drag radials and get a hell of a launch.... but u didnt list a new rearend in ur mods so i wouldnt suggest that.

 

if he runs 13.4 then your toast

an ls1 could hit better than 13.6, its all in the launch. I know a guy with an auto that hit 13.3 stock

 

well i was in texas and its hot and humid i could maybe get a lil better but idk i know the 02 ss would be the best stock camaro to run ....

 

why the 02 ss? isnt the ss just a cosmetic upgrade? any ls1based car regardless of year should run similarly. yes, the 01+ have the ls6 intake, but the 98s and 99s had more aggressive cams (which had to be tamed in order to get rid of the EGR in the newer models). 6.5 one way, half a bakers dozen the other

 

Are you guys running at sea level? We need some more info about where this "13.4" is at...'cause if it were here in Denver, it'd be a damn fast car, if you're running in Florida, with your mods and providing you've practiced racing and stuff, you should be able to at least keep up.
