then a ss cobalt came tearing past me after there was a big enuf gap between me and the civic.
guess he was right behind me then cut the civic off when the gap opened up.
i didnt even know he was there.
at least it was another bowtie that got me.lol

 

i might go +1 on the whistle tip. it really doesnt sound like driver error. if anything yenko had the bad launch

 

you could have just heard an aftermarket intake..

i got a turbo filter for my car (just because i thought it would sound funny as hell) but it didnt fit so i threw it on my mom's 2000 Alero and it sounds like its got a turbo like seriously... and its markedly faster i was totally like "wtf! all that from a ****ing filter??!" (Granted it had the stock airbox in there before but dang it is a noticable difference..)

actually, it did sound like that whistle tip, i coulda swore i heard a BOV too though. either way, i won[8D]

and yea, my ION spins all through 1st and 2nd, end of 2nd and beginning of 3rd it has real bad wheel hop though.

the whistle was loud enough for me to hear it over my stereo the first time he took off...and everyone knows i dont keep that quiet. i just find it funny that people think civic's are end all be all cars [>:]

those S/C 2.0s are no joke of a car either.

 

the new SS cobalt is a turbo, 265HP 2.2 I drove one last week, there pretty dam fast for a 4 banger... Cant wait till they go on the market, I may sell somthing and buy one...

 

yeah, i've been watching those new turbo cobalts.. how the hell did you drive one? they sound so sweet.. for a 4 banger.. i think the no-lift thing was pretty cool..

 

really? they're the 2.2? i thought they discontinued that engine cause of the ECU problems. so i'm guessing the new 2.2 has VVT?

im hoping they come out with a IRL model, but i doubt it since 07 was the last year of the ION.


and i shut down my friend's honda today. his is a decent looking one. he has a B18 in it, but it's all stock, he put the B18 in about a year ago, and hasnt really had money to do anything else to it.
