Default Races at my School (Updates regularly)

Figured I would start this thread in light of all the kids who have wanted to race me ever since I just got my '95...

Thus far, here is how it looks:

ME -

1995 V6 3.4L Camaro - Bought her a few weeks ago with 77k on her, automatic, and got it checked out with a pro (my uncle who works with nobilemotorsports). So far runs great, sounds great, and I am really happy to keep my family tradition of the Camaro (was my father and my uncle's first cars, my older brother's first car was the IROC...happy traditions). Unfortuanetly, I couldn't keep up with them getting V8's in light of recent gas hikes.

COMPETITION -

2009 DOHC MIVEC 2.0L Lancer
- Just to give a little back story on this one, this kid gets all D's and a couple F's on his report card last semester, and guess what his parent's do to him? Buy him a brand new Lancer... I swear when I have kids... I talked to his parents very bluntly, and their excuse was "Well, he just isn't smart as other kids and that's just the way he is". Yeah, so let's buy him ****ing nice things to teach him.

Anyway, he has been acting like his lancer is hot **** and has challenged me against his car.

CAMARO VS. LANCER - COMING SOON!

2007 i-VTEC 1.8L Civic - Friend of mine just got this, in manual and an ugly *** green to boot, and has been gloating a bit. When he was in my car he even laughed when he looked at my speedometer, saying "Ha this thing only goes 110?". Because his 140 rated civic can do better... we'll see.

CAMARO VS. CIVIC - COMING SOON!

2008 l4 2.0L Mazda3 - Like the above, this kid was filled with pure ignorance. Silver with a manual tranny, he's been gloating to me about his car for the past year and when I was riding with him, he kept saying annoying **** like "I love driving" and "Man my radio is good", because I've had to replace my set and speakers. Can't wait for this one.

CAMARO VS. MAZDA - COMING SOON!

2004 V6 3.8L Mustang - This one actually seems like a decent face off to me. This kid and I are actually friends and his parents let him get this $15k beauty - convertible and everything. Really nice, he even let me drive it. Can't wait for some friendly comp agains him.

CAMARO VS. MUSTANG - COMING SOON!

2007 Pontiac G6 - I'm pretty certain facing a new G6 my friend bought is an iminent loss, but I would just be fooling around with him anyway.

CAMARO VS. G6 - COMING SOON!

** NO MODS ON ANY COMPETITORS THUS FAR

Sorry for not having any actual races yet, but i'll keep it posted within the next week!

I think you've got all those races in the bag. Unless some major upset happens.
Even the Mustang shouldn't be too much of a problem.
Even though I have a 3.8L v6, I tore apart my buddy's 3.8L v6 Mustang.
Just learn how to torque-brake with your auto and you'll take them out pretty good.

I was actually a bit concerned about beating the 'stang...

Like, if I got the v6 that started in '95 with a 3.8L engine, then yeah I would beat him cake. But with my 3.4 i'm not so sure....

but i'm assuming my car has higher torque...?

Would facing a 2007 g6 be an iminent loss? I think so, but my friend wants to fool around anyway...

I may be wrong, but aren't they rated at 220 hp?

stang - hp 193 - tor 225

lancer - 244 hp - 253 tor

mazda - 250 hp - 148 or

g6 - 224 hp - 220 tor

so yeah dude. i would atleast put on a intake and exhaust before i ran completely stock.

3.4's 160 hp along with 160? tor?

Oh jeez, you're in a 3.4 lol.
I'm sorry I didn't even see that.

Regardless, intake/exhaust/stall/gears should help you out ALOT.

Try to get some of those races on film!

Good luck!
