My Cobalt SS actually has a Saab trans made in Sweden

 

alot of chevy's engines were designed by Saab. one being the 1st ecotec, which i beleave was a 2.2, chevy then made a 2.0 s/c and a 2.4 motor out of them

STIC... you like the cobalt? im deffently getting a LS1 camaro here soon, but when im 18, im debating taking a loan for like a 04 silverado SS, or a Redline, or even maybe the new turbo SS coming out..

 

Actually the old Saab 900 Turbos can be made pretty quick for not much money. They are factory intercooled and increasing boost/ doing exhaust modswill get them into the low 14's/high 13's

 

Yeah it's been a lot of fun. The Cobalt SS did beat the Mustang GT among others in the Car and Driver lighning lap. Check out the link below. I would definitely recommend one like mine or the new turbo Cobalt, butI will probably stick with V8 cars from now on just because I like the sound and torque.

well i'd be keeping the LS1(that i dont have yet) just would like a SS/SC or RL as a DD. if not for a Silvy SS
