I will retract my lastpost and instead say...I Think my camarowould be good competition on the street against a stock gt.
Iwill let you allknow what numbers i get when i run.

I don't think anyone here is doubting the capability of the new GT. I've seen them at the track also and they run pretty good. The issue was that the LT1 did win this time and the hiss guy thru a fit. It was a friendly street race and maybe next time the GT takes it. If so cool. I got my Maro brotha's back and throwing props his way for the kill. No disrespect to the Ford boys at all. Like I said I like the new GT and the older Cobras. Now, where is the rice?

I told you to GTFO because you said his"strong running" LT1 should be able to beat the GT.

I finally raced my brother in-laws '07 mustang gt(stock motorw/5speed, 3.55gears) with my 94 z28(stock motor 151k miles, msd, stage 2 transgo shift kit,3.73 gears)
It was pretty much a dead even run all the way up to 110mphwhen we let out of it.i was a nose ahead of him for most of the race but he'd inch up a little about even with meand fall back every time he would change a gear. I was verysuprised how well the camaro did.
