I can also tell you guys that the guy i bought the car from told me that it ran a 13.7 at dinwiddy va raceway.thatwas before the tranny and rearend. he said that he had a headjob(valves worked/redone) and new headgaskets. he didnt tell me about doing anything special to the engine.
He has a malibu drag car he races there on a regular basis.

I like the new Stangs. Let it go! It happends and if you race then there is always the potential to lose even to a car that might be under powered compared to yours.
