I was on the highway in montreal the other night, and on that stretch people really haul ***. I got lost in the city earlier and i have a curfew at 11pm, so i was stepping on it. I was following traffic in the fast lane, then i saw a freaking black Ferrari 308 slipping in front of me and taking off. I say to myself, oh well, might as well get a move on. I go WOT on the pedal and see the speedo go from 110kmh (70mph) to about 160kmh (100mph) in too long a time. By this time i was finally understanding how P-51 pilots must have felt when they approached the speed of sound because my car was doing weird noises and the air flow around the car was deafening. Still everything kept together so i finally caught up to him, he was going like 145. He was pretty suprised to see me, let's say!

We drove together for a couple miles and then we stopped for a red light. I got next to him and when he saw what my car looked like up close, he laughed his *** off. I mean my car looks like it served in the battle of Sarajevo... I waved at him and laughed too. When the light turned green, he took off. I decided to let him go, because my transmission slips from 2nd to 3rd and i didin't want to break it. I couldn't have kept visual contact with him if i had a JATO pod strapped on my trunk anyway.

Gave me a good idea of how the car handles, and was pretty fun, but i wouldn't do it again. I mean imagine if something broke, i would have been done for.

no because he was going 160 kph to begin with. i believe he was going that fast but took at least 5 minutes to get there.

It is possible for the v6 to run up to 135 but it would take some time to get up there.

check your own quote there, he said he " saw the speedo go from 110kmh (70mph) to about 160kmh (100mph)." he started at 70 mph. then he said the Ferrari was "going like 145" i'm guessing this is in kmh, because my 3.1 does 145mph flat out. 145kmh = 90 mph
