i've out ran several SS camaros in my stock 300zx NA and in a light to light and from kicks anywhere from 35-65 the damn cars are just geared sick as hell been known to take my stepdads C3 vett in an 1/8 as long as i was on point with everyshift but his C5 is a whole nother story

too bad just about all nissan's look like A$$ as well as just about every other import. before i started modding my 94Z i had smoked my buddy's 300 ZX about 3 times and he had a bunch of crap done CAI exhaust headers, and titanium valvetrain crap. and i was keeping up with most stock LS1 F-body's with only a transpac,2500 stall and CAI, so even if it was an LT1 he was talking about, i think wicked illusions should change his name to crossthreaded hallucinations

very true i have since parted ways with that one thanks to a drunk driver deciding he wanted to pay for it more than i did and have a "new" black one thats no where on the same performance level as my previous one the car was bone stock unless it have the jim wolf ECU in it witch would be completely riduclous to do with out at least any bolt ons i would hope that any LS! would eat a C3 for lunch especially out the hole considering the huge difference that the multiport would make over a carb set up the 3-5 secs it took the vette to finally suck the much needed air fuel combo in was enuff to take it in the 1/8 in a 1/4 i'd get pulled easily oh isnt that sweet auSStin i think i mite take that in to consideration but for now i'll think i will pass once i dig out pics of the VR6 are puttin up the same numbers as 300z's but with about 300-500 more in curb weight if i thought it might have been safe to vido tape while running between 100 and 140 i mite could readily provide images with the ss trailing
