My Camaro VS old 4.6 gt vs newer 5.0 mustang
Was cruising down the freeway after buying my new camaro SS2 45th ann. and not saying i was looking for a race but i sure did wanna check the horses against someone. When 2 mustangs came flying past me racing, I was like ohh crap here is my chance. I guess they were thinking the same thing. So i gave it some gas and caught up. The 5.0 did not want to race at first the 4.6 was all about it with his gf maddogging me and my lady. So we slowed down to about 50 then gave it a couple honks and we were off. He was dusted in no time. So he tried 2 more times then after that he kinda slowed. The 5.0 was just stalking behind me and finally pulled up for a turn. slowed down gave it a few honks and went to about 100 or so and then let off with winning. I would say i am pretty proud of this stocker. When i get home from work i am getting a tune by Wheatly and exhaust. Then it will be a little track time in baytown!!!

Considering the SS2 has over 120 HP advantage over both the Mustangs you mentioned, you little "race" really proves nothing, other than the car with the best power to weight ratio usually wins in a drag race. You should have picked on a same year Mustang with the 400+HP V8, and if you had won, then there would be something worth bragging about.

Well like i said i had just drove off the lot earlier that day and I cant help two mustangs ran up and decided to play. If i let every car go that came up on me to race that was not a fair race i would never get to race much. I will race a 89 honda civic if it wants to go. I was just giving some reading material for yall. But next time i will post a better race.

We're not trying to mean about it. We are always happy to see Mustangs lose a race. But it's just not as exciting to hear about when it's a big difference in power. It's like beating a Ford Model T with a 2012 SS and bragging about it. Like we said, race a newer Mustang and win, then we'll be impressed. Or at least a car that has comparable statistics.
