I have a 2000 SS with mild bolt ons and destoryed an r/t charger on the road and on the track,,, but an lt1?... no so sure how thatd go down stock to stock

My coworker bought a newer v8 Charger not long before I got my Camaro. He said he was only getting something like 14-17 mpg for highway...he also kept trying to get me to race him (a sixer against an 8? Really?) Chargers are huge and bulky and I would think they would have more wind resistance. Camaros are sleek and lower to the ground, so I can see that being to the Camaro's advantage. It's all about the driver though, the vehicle can only get you so far. You have to know how to drive/race first.

if youre not driving a stick and youre on a road alone,,, theres no way to mess up,,, put it in drive, hold rev to 2000 on an auto, and the dump the brake punch the gas and drive its not that hard... if you are driving a stick... yeah dont street race
