im driving to work today half asleep as usual just rumbling on through at 65 on the high way when i see this car i see the mercury badge on the back but i wasnt sure what it was getting closer i found it to be a cougar i was like eh cool im crusing with this guy in the middle lane me in the right no big deal at the time i had this ford F-150 sitting infront of me going painfully slow and i was running late so i rev up a little close to encouage some speed outa him at this point two things happend the F150 moved two lanes to the right to get off and the cougar thought i was challangeing him he goosed it and then took off so i stompted it afterhim caught up and passed him being as i was running late any way i didnt slow back down to see his reaction just kept going

What year was the Cougar? My GF has a 69 cougar... (I know... ford but atleast its not an import )

That thing has a 351W in it and its pretty quick.

 

my soon to be father-in-law has a '69 Cougar Eliminator with a 320hp 390 , pretty fast car. and for some reason i don't see a V6 Maro taking it , a LT1 car would be hard pressed to pass one and keep on trucking without a good run.
