i was at a light waiting for it to turn green to go on the freeway.. i was already in a hurry since i was late to a game[:@]. then a chrysler 300 pulls up next to me. this guy turns up his music i just kinda laugh it off then he turns it down and puts it in neutral and revs up. sounded like he coulda had some kind of exhaust set up but im not sure what kind. so i say f**k it and get ready to launch.. it turns green and the retard is still reving then drops it into drive[:@]. right off the bat i get about 2 or 3 cars on him. i stay ahead till we are at about 80-85mph then he starts gaining on me. by the time i shift into 5 about 100mph hes right next to me then starts pulling. i let off at 115 my front end was right on his ***.. so i beat him till about 85 mph then he started cachin up. anyone know what the limiter is on those?

does your camaro have a speed limiter? on my 95 v6 maro my speed never went passed 90! and that was on a parkway whining out the rpm.

3rd - 60/70
4th - 70/80
5th - 90

tell you the truth not even sure what year it was.. looked a lot like my sisters roomate's one.. ill ask her..

and the fastest i have gone in my car was about 122 i think. speedometer reads 120 but it pulld a little more before stopping.. i think it stil has the limiter, i never took it off. im all stock as well except exhaust and CAI..

i do about the same.. 70-75 in 3rd and up too 100 in 4th, @120mph in 5th im close to 4k rpm

then you more than likely ran the 3.5 v6 powered 300 (if a 2.7 pulled on you like that, you're car has problems)

 

ya im pretty sure it was the 3.5... i hope.. it was pretty close the whole time, i just thikn he has a higher top speed than me.. i could of kept going in 4th and probably stayed ahead for longer, but shifted into 5th, i was done racing him..

Kinda like when I race my dad... His truck has a 351 big block in it... I blow him away from take off and he would never catch me. But we were running 60 on the interstate and gunned it side by side and he stuck right beside me til 100 in a truck that weighs almost 2 of my cars lol.
