Can i take a 06 cobalt SS with some mods, like intake, MAF, and other small stuff? I have a 93 z28 with some mods also, its all in signature.

I think it would be a good race. You definately have more top end torque than he does. It also depends if he's running the stock boost on his supercharger. the Lt1 has a quicker 0-60 time with 5.7 whereas the cobalt ss hit 60 in about 6 seconds flat. I think you could def beat him. Are you Auto or Manual? The SS's are all 5 speeds.
My buddy has a black 06 SS and it is quick, Ive driven it. although it is by far no lt1; that supercharger makes up for what it lacks in sheer cubic inches. i think you could take him.

If it is a supercharged Cobalt with the upgrade packages and your engine isstock I wouldnt put alot of money on the line. They are rated 6.0 0 to 60 stock, my brother has one we have done better than that a number of times according to the GTech(totally stock). Their biggest problem is traction off the line. This might be a drivers race.

Obviously you have an auto since you're talking about stall converters. You might get him off the line but he'll catch up to you pretty fast. Keep us posted. That Cobalt ss sounds like it's pretty nice. Borla makes one of the best exhaust systems I've heard.

Man, I don't know why you even give those compacts the time of day! Building those cars is like polishing a turd- no matter what you do, at the end of the day all you have is a piece of s--t. There is no replacement for displacement.
