its too bad the tibbys are such overhyped dogs. they are kinda cool lookin. and dont they come in a 6 speed?

 

MK3 supra 1JZ single turbo15.4 stock but mod veary easy.They can make mid to high 14 passes with about 800 bucks in parts. Turbo back exhaust, Fuel Cut deffender, Turbo filter, and manel boost controll. Toyota was veary easy on the boost on the 1JZ and in bone stock form you can rais the boost about 2pounds more with suporting mods.This would be if the car is in good condition. but if he gets it running right and starts moding this is something to look out for.

I was gone for5 daysand specter has more post then me. How did this happen. [:@]. Yes the tibbys are over rated. Even with a SC they are only able to match older Fbody like the 350 TPI. Even with turbo or SC traction becomes a big problem and the tranys have isues with higher HP. Still not a bad car yes overrated but not as bad as some B16 civics and GSR integras are .

 

true but still if you met the guy i know that has one youd be like he was destined for a tibby hes got the I4 one and told me he kept up with a "lancer STI"......

 

[sm=roll.gif]. Moded out 2.7 GT dont even come close to stock WRX times let alone a STI or EVO. Its not the first time a tibby has talked smack. I had a guy with a GT talk all kinds of crap about my TSI for a long time. He would come to my shop and talk **** about my car and then ask about his. Finaly i was coming home one night about 3 years ago. I was behind my friend with his 2nd gen turbo2. Next thing i know this 1.8T jetta and tibby come flying up next to use at a light. They had some friends with them and where acting stupied. My friend took out the Tibby with no problem and the Jetta just didnt try. When at the next light i got around next to the tibby having already lost to the T2 he wouldnt even look over at me with his friends in the car. The next day he came to the shope *****ing about how he needed new plugs and he had bad gas and every other problem he could have ever had.
