I'm usually not one to get into these, but I have to say import, since you've joined all I've seen is a few technical highlights intermingled with a bunch of flaming and insulting. You have posts that you're "babysitting" when you've been here for a whopping 3 weeks, you're worried about how the forum is going to be perceived with all of these so called bad posts, and then you get all defensive when someone brings up the image of the forum when it's you that's at fault. We like to have technical knowledge around, but taking personal attacks at certain members because they do not possess the technical knowledge of yourself is just wrong. From what I've seen Yenko is either joking around in a humorous manner or offering advice to the best of his ability. He admits if he's not sure about something and it's just a suggestion, but he's willing to openly offer advice. Advice is free, it's not guaranteed to work, but it's usually worth a try. Like I said, we like having technical knowledge around, but frankly if you're going to **** and moan about the other members I'm sure we can find technical knowledge elsewhere...

Sure thing buddy...non tech, have you read the tech things he has wrote? How long ive been a member here has nothing to do with this. Pete said you guys need to help keep people inline, im not seeing that. you want to ban some one who actually owns a camaro, and knows what their talking about? and keep around a kid, with a saturn...

This thread makes me wanna pee on someone's face.

But seriously, every forum has this kind of childish crap. Us Mopar guys are used to it too.

Really now, is this worth getting all worked up over? Besides, Import, you need to cut your losses here, you picked a tech fight in the street/strip section. And although yenko may not be an ASE certified technician that doesnt mean his input is worthless BS. I dont know why youve got such a vendetta against yenko, but this sounds like something you should PM him about if its really that serious. If your going to talk about "kids" on the forums, dont stoop to that level.

Help keeping people in line and personally insulting someone, and saying you want to ban them because they don't have the same technical knowhow that you have and they don't drive a Camaro are two completely different things. How long you've been a member here does have something to do with it because you came in here and instantly started causing turmoil. You started flaming people without having a good idea of what the atmosphere around here is and all you've done is stir up trouble. We like to joke around to keep the mood on the forum light so it's not like reading a text book, it's more like getting together and talking cars with your buddies, and frankly that's the way I'd like to keep it. If you're talking cars with a friend and you're talking tech stuff and one of your buddies makes a suggestion do you instantly start insulting him and his car because his advice isn't 100% grounded in technical knowledge? No, or at least I don't, maybe you're just a **** and constantly have your ******* hat on and do that, but usually I would kindly correct the mistake or verify the suggestion with technical knowledge. Get off Yenko's back, he admits when he doesn't know something and he tells the people to wait for help from people with more technical knowledge, as long as we nicely correct him and set him on the right way he'll read and learn the right way, as well as the technical justification for some of the advice he's giving. Help the other members of the board grow in their knowledge, don't hinder them just because they don't know as much as you.

woah. i missed alot after i went to bed..
Import, im sorry if you think my "info" is BS, but if you feel that way, don't listen to it. i had nothing against you till you attacked me for i dont even remember what..

and i am seriously sick and tired of "hearing" people ***** about my saturn(and now my old camaro). no one else's car gets flamed.. but it'll soon start, if it keeps up.

/end arguements

on a side note:
raced my friend's NON turbo eclipse today, from a dig, and we were pretty even whole way, i got a better launch and got about a 1/2 car ahead of him, and stayed there till 80. and that's with me spinning like a **** in first.. but so was he, i just caught first... so moral of story is: the GST kid's eclipse has somethign wrong with it. something seriously wrong.
