yeah a gto vs lt1 stock for stock is hard to believe

 

yea, your talking a low 13/high 12 second car aginst a low 14 second car.

 

anything is possible from a dig, especially with that **** poor suspension in the goat, but from a roll something is wrong.

Yeah I thought it was hard to believe...and I wouldn't if I hadn't seen it myself. It was definitley an LS2 and they were both M6's so I guess the GTO had a horrible driver and the LT1 has an amazing driver you guys remember Coprunr. It was him.

 

GTO's can be fast... with just about the best driver in the world, with a average driver, i can see a GTO losing to a bolt on mod LT1 with a good driver or auto.

 

The 04's ran like a 13.6 the 05 was like a 13.1 in the 1/4 mile.
It should be aood one any way.

 

uhh, I'm sayin the GTO will walk him. What mods do you have done? I doubt the LT1 is going toeradicate an LS2

 

I don't have the LT1 I know the guy that does. At the time the car was completely stock down to the paper air filter. I didn't say that it obliterated it it won barely but a win is a win. And I am guessing the GTO couldn't drive worth a crap or stated in a wrong gear or something I don't know. Hell may have been frozen over when they raced but the LT1 did win.

 

LS1 camaro > LS2 GTO > LS1 GTO > LT1... but thats with pro drivers, the launch on a GTO is really hard to master, and stock times are done by pros.. i honestly can see a bolt on LT1 beating a average driver, never track raced GTO LS1(not a 2).
