My friend just grabbed up a red 2004 gto M6 with 30 K... nice car...we are going to settle this on the streets to see which is faster. i wish my other friend with a 2002 m6 SS black with 6k would race but he wants no part of it. I plan on filming this and will post it up. wish me luck..

 

Its an LS1 so you guys are making the same power but he is hevier. You should win and this should be in the Street/Strip section.

 

you should deffently win... the GTOs are gimped bad from a dig, plus like stiggy said, he's prolly 400 pounds heavier with same power.

correct though, if you are driving right, not only is he substantially heavier, u have a better drag suspension. your car is faster, but it depends on whether or not you are faster

i raced my cuzins> stock 98vs stock 04 5.7 and i pulled on the highway and a dig a4 vs a4 so i think u will take him

 

The GTO's are nice and all but yes they are heavy and you will have no problem beating him$ assuming you can drive descently at least. I have personally seen a stock LT1 SS beat a LS2 GTO from a dig and a roll. Both were M6's and maybe the GTO didn't have the driver mod. Not real sure about that but it did happen.

 

an ls2 GTO should not get walked by a stock lt1.
