does anyone know what a GTP runs stock in 1/4? im gonna be buying one soon and i was jsut curious what im gonna be startin wiht?

the older one. i dont know the exact year yet, i just got my buddy that works at the chevy dealer finding me one. but i told him to go older body style if he can find me one cause im not big on the new body style.

i think they're mid-high 15s.

and they're a real nice DD car.

IMPORTMD is going to jump all over this one lol... he dont like these cars... Mine stock was 14.6, mags rate them between 14.8 to 14.9... but they are VERY traction limited. The TQ of these cars is insane for a six cyl, and they can spin them shifting into second. So with some good wide sticky rubber, low 14.s is easily possible... With a few mods, you can easily break the 300WHP mark... Mines at 304, and is my DD untill I fix the vette, which I hope is in the next month or so...

i thought in the range of 15.0, but my buddies got one and i stop him in my 94z28, but i still think theyre really cool cars

on average they are about 15 flat. however we do have a member that ran 14.4 bone stock on another forum im on, stock rubber even.

Like specter said its possible, esepcially with a blown car, altitude makes a BIG difference on how well a car will run... the denser the air, the less a blower works, like when I took my vette last year to the mountains in BC, I could feel a big loss in power, but I was up over 6000 ft above sea level...
