My car vs. an '04 or '05 STi. He wasn't stock, he had at least exhaust and some exterior mods, who knows what he had under the hood. Anyway, back to the race...We both end up stopping at a stop light. Once it turns green, we both just kinda, roll off the line, at the middle of the intersection, I hear him get on it, so I floor it. I'm a decent amout ahead of him until about 60-70 mph, a bit into 2nd gear. He starts to catch me, then passes me between about 80-90, by this time I've just shifted into 3rd and he's in at least 4th. Anyway, I don't feel too bad about it, he has a bit more money into that than I do in my car, plus, I was way louder...

Ya, that's what a good intake and exhaust setup will do for ya! I would have been able to keep up with him if he were stock, I'm pretty positive of that.

True, but with what I have on my car, I should be running above stock '96 SS HP/TQ, so that's over 305hp and over 335tq. His curb weight is 3, 263lbs comapared to my 3,390 curb weight. Ya, not too scared of a stock STi, it'd be close, but I think I could take him with my torque and no turbo lag advantage. Plus, my car sounds a lot better!
