I don't think I've ever seen a 3KGT run faster than a 13. They're heavy, and there's no room for parts under the hood. Gotta pull the whole damn motor just to change a turbo out.

I'll tell you what. Let me get my motor back together. I'll race you using every other gear. I'll use 1st, 3rd, 5th only. Put 5K on the race, and I'll go do it. I'll even modify the shifter so that you can't say I cheated.

hang on a sec here.. yes, most NEONs are throw away cars. even so, for the 2 or 3 years you own them, they are great beater cars. and if you have the money to make a 12sec neon, you have money to buy GOOD stuff, not the crap stuff it comes with, so, it's no longer a POS..
