So me in the SS with K&N and Flowmaster cat back.

#1 First time, also best. Who knew right.
#2 We were supposed to go when that light turned green (see#1)
#3 Why wont that needle go past 6500 I have my foot down.
So hit limiter, clutch stuck to floor out of fear and nasty clutchy smell still lingers.
Nasty. I think I'll stick with the launch control for a bit longer......
#4 Missed 2nd. Bancheee? Nope just whats left of the trans.
#5 I think I am getting the hang of this. Opps left the A/C on, still a W though!!!
#6 Hit limiter right as I was about to go to 4th.

So my buddy...
The 5.0 with Boss intake, CAI, and axle back. With SCT tune (street 87 tune though).
His best time was 13.3ish and highest speed was 109ish. I just have better reaction times, yes even on the first run.

We will have to see what a tune can do to the SS.

Oh yeah, had about 1/8 tank of gas. $10 for gas $15 to run all we wanted. If I didnt need a new clutch it would have been the cheapest date in a long time.

not bad at all for your first time out. Did you still have the spare tire/jack in the car? do you have a goal for it?

The battery is in the trunk instead of a spare. The goal is to go real fast. I just came from my dealer and he said I should get a tuner and gears, so did the guy with the 600HP Camaro (that this tech built). So I think that is going to be the short order. I want to do wheelies, but I think I'll save that for the 67.

I keep going in circles about what tuner, but I think it is going to be the inTune. Probably looking at 4.10 gears. It has 5th and 6th as overdrives so I should be able to drive it to work.

This was my favorite run. The rest of them are there as well.

Went again and had a best time of 13.35 with a diablo canned tune. No launch control this time, but the track was getting wet from the temp drop.

you need to look into an actual tuner, those canned tunes are worthless. There are plenty of places around you that can slap a tune up in the car and get it to run a number, thats for sure
