One of my good friends recently got a new boyfriend. I heard from some people that he is really cocky about his car. He has a 3.8 v6 pontiac firebird.Which is the excat same motor as my camaro.Another one of my friends told me i should race him. and im like sure.. it will be fun. weboth had no mods but i did have high octane gas in my car.

So we got together and met up and went to a place where lots of people race. The first run i beat him only by about a nose lenght. The second round i beat him by at least a car length. it was all grreat fun. we ended up talking about our cars for hours. and he wants to go again after we both get some mods on our cars.

The firebird is heavier, and if you're a better driver those 2 factors could contribute to your win...congrats

V6's are decent engines. With a tune, I'll be in the 14's. And I don't call it a muscle car, I call it a sports car.

few things here buddy

 

1. the 3800 is no wuss engine its more than a match for most of the 80s v8 muscel cars
2. bashing v6 is a bannable offence on this forum
