DODGE SRT??

RE: DODGE SRT??
i still dont think the srt4 will do much harm from a roll. I raced a stag 2 from a roll in my GT vert with 3 people in the car and the top down, and he only pulled a couple cars on me. at that time, the GT would get pounded by ls1s. therefore, ls1 pwns srt4 from dig or roll.

stock lt1 is gonna whoop it from a dig and a low roll those things have like no torque and are fwd from a roll again the suckers like all the other super bangers have to wind up there turbo so its only once it really starts going that the 263 horses are there before that there just about like any other neon

RE: DODGE SRT??
i've learned the hard way to never doubt a WRX. one of my neighbors has a 04' WRX Wagon that regularly eats Z28s and 5.0s at the strip. his slowest time was a 12.5. he hasn't even touched the turbo yet either. SRT4's aren't that fast down low, my old civic could beat them off the line.

95slvers right those are all over in colorado but simple fact about the SRT 4 neon itll beat a v6 and get beat by a v8 (like everything else it seems) but SRT 4s have a really bad habbit of blowing up hence why there a bit more rare than say a wrx but SRT its no real compition to a v8 camaro i stayed close to one in my v6

RE: DODGE SRT??
If you run this guy, particularly from a standing start, be careful. Front dirvers have horrendous torque steer and the added power of aftermarket power mods makes it worse: the drivers often have trouble keeping them in the lane. I lined up once against a heavily modded SRT at the strip one time (random chance that night) and the guy torque-steered half into my lane when he did the the 1-2 shift. Luckily I was out in front enough that it didn't matter (I was in a low ten second car, he was in a high 12 second car, I had a pretty good launch, he blew smoke through 1st gear). He was banned from the track after that, but it was a bit scary even so . . .
