How much hp does the srt-4 stage 3 come with stock?? I've heard somewhere in the 300's? My buddy was talking about how he saw a srt-4 stage 3 beat a new mustang gt.

Well im confused because i saw a srt-4 with a stage 3 plate on the back at the local dodge dealership this weekend. So can you buy an srt-4 with the stage 3 installed?

they stopped making the srt4 in 2005. im not sure but i think you only buy the stages aftermarket and you take it to the dealer to get put on and they have a badge to go with it. (e. Stage 1 )

There's actually 2 variations of the stage 3. The normal one will make around 310-320 at the wheels. Then they have an additional "Turbo Toys" package that includes an intercooler sprayer, as well as ECU programming for racing fuel. They tend to make in the mid 300s.
But in a neon chassis with a little power, a GT really isn't a problem. An SRT4 with an exhaust is a good match for a stock GT. I chew them up like they are nothing simply because my whole car with 1/4 tank of fuel is only 2450lbs. Doesn't take much power to get going fast if you don't havea lot of car to move.
