i watched a pretty good race last night. 1966 VW beetle stroked out to a 2L took on a Corvair (don't know what year, i'm not really an expert on Corvairs). i was really suprised at how well they both ran, that Beetle almost got the flat 6 powered Corvair. fun race to watch, i've never seen two rear engined cars race before.

 

I would have liked to have seen that!

By the way, I drive a flat 6 rear engined car every day, about the only one left anymore . . .
