If you plan on going turbo you will not need headers or the slp lid since you will not use them with the trubo kit.

 

what kind of car do you have though? prob a v8

What does it matter what car i have. You will not be able to use headers made for a NA car and turbo it. Unless you are going with a remote set up and i dont think thats what you are going for. Also you would not use the a lid on a turbo car. You can trubo the 3.8 with out building it if you run lowand i do mean lowboostwith a good intercoolerplus good tuning it can be done. Would it be the best set up? NO. But you could do it. If you want the truth you will need to sell your car and go LT1 or LS1. You can make the V6 fast but it will take a fair bit of work and time. With LT1 and LS1 cars selling for a good price right now this would be a better way for some one just getting into cars to go.
