damn. thats kind of a letdown. My dad just got a 99 Z71.. But that thing does have better pickup than my car.. Just curious, anyone ever thought about racing with the Auto 4wd button? lol, im sure it wouldnt be good, but i bet that thing would haul ***..

 

if traction is a issue i would put in 4 high not 4 auto, with 4 auto the rear is going to slip then send power to the front, that would be hard on the drive train. i would put it in 4 high, and after you get going put it back in 2.

 

he will probably run it in regular wo wheel drive.

 

i serched for some vids on you tube the 5.7 silvy seems to be 14.7-15.0 so i would guess mid high 15s outa the 5.3 so who knows maybe you got a shot man....

those numbers are way off, 5.3 is faster than the 5.7, low 16's

 

i think hell run a 16 flat. no less

 

I've raced a buddies' Z71 truck, but it was smaller than the one you're talking about, maybe a Colorado?
Our races we're pretty close until I hit 60 and slowly walked away from him.
But I don't think it has the same engine size as the 1500 [&:]
