At the time allI had was flowmaster exhaust. The mustang is a 1995 5.0 liter engineand only has flowmaster exhaust too. We raced 3 times but he got me 2 out of 3. Sorry for the poor quality.I video taped this on my cell phone. Also its Kinda hard to race and tape at the same time.

kinda surprised, thought you would of had em, what tranny and rear do you have?

 

automatic tranny. Mustang was a standard. I have stock gears. I though i did really good for a V6 with flomasters only. I didnt lose that bad

 

In '95 the mustang converted over to their 4.6 Liter motor. '94 was the last year with the 5.0, so unless he swapped, he either had a different motor or a different year.

 

Actually 95 was the last year 5.0. 96 came in with the 4.6 and different taillight design.

yea 96 they went to the 4.6 with the crappy flowing NPI heads and a whoping 215 HP, 94-95 had a 5.0 with the crappy e7te heads, both had a 2.73 rear as well[8D]

what are your stock gears 2.73, 3.08 or 3.42?

 

You did hang pretty well with him for having a six. Just because it's a mustang doesnt mean ****. It's still got bigger Displacement and 2 extra cylinders. My Buddy's 95 5.0 is meaner than **** im not sure what all its got done to it. But I know it doesnt have an extensive amount of parts on it. It has to have a shift kit because that ****er will throw you back into your seat as it shifts gears (auto) I know that there's no Six cylinder coming close to that. V6 mustangs should be nothing for your 3.8

 

YeaI beat a 94 V6 Stang with my old 93 Talon, 4 banger 5 speed.
