You can easily mod a 3.8, Get headers, high flow cat with 3 inch ehaust, CAI, ZZP Pcm, 180* T stat, port and polish the heads, etc... lots can be done, Ive got a 304 HP GTP Grand prix...

WOW.... your FAR off... the ONLY difference in the 2 motors is the way it sits it the bay... The GTP is running a lower 8:1 compression ratio than the naturally asperated 3.8, but both NON supercharged, camaro/grand prix, are both K code 3.8 series 2 V6's. You cant tell me different, I work for GM, so dont even bother trying... thx.

RE: camaro vs honda
different top end and internals = different motor. whether the block is shared i dont know. this is why you cannot slap a GTP blower on a camaro 3.8 without some intensive work.
even without that, ur car is factory boosted, making it an unvalid comparisson. i really dont care what u do for a living. working for GM doesnt mean a damn thing.

The ONLY difference in the 2 engines, is the intake setup, which doesnt matter if its a blown motor because you have to change it anyways. Go to the GTP forum, almost everybody with a rebuilt or replaced engine has used the 3.8 from the camaro or firebird, because its IDENTICAL in EVERY way to a non supercharged GT. ( grand Prix ) and they DO just drop on the blower. The supercharged motor only had 40 HP over the non supercharged 3.8, and only 45 LB tq more...

RE: camaro vs honda
Reason for using the F body 3.8 was the GTP had different heads for lower complression, the non GTP modles and the fbody used the SAME EXACT engine. So they put the f body or the GT 3.8 in, and drop on a blower and its already pushing close to the 280 crank HP due to the higher compression... But not many people, ( aperently ) know that.

Aren't the fuel injectors located in the head on the L67, and L36 they are located in the intake manifold? That's why you have to swap out the heads to put the L67 blower on the L36. They make kits so you don't have to do that, but otherwise you have to.
