Back to the transmission subject: Alih, you need to get as many gears as possible, I don't care what tranny it is, just get as many as you can, that way when you lose to a decent car (whether that be an import or domestic) you have more chances to miss a shift, and thus have a legitimate excuse for you loss...

Lol ive been gone for awhile so i just read through this... a 269awhp 3700+lbs Audi vs what a roughly 3500 pound 275hp Camaro.... Now THATS funny. Ive been in an S4 with an expensive local shop tune and exhaust and some other bolt ons and it still had no pull compared to my old 94 Z.

in reality the Allison only has 5 or 6 gears depending on which model you get (Allison 1000/2000/3000)
