Ok so I was at my usual spot last night waiting to see if a good race popped up(which took forever), when one finally did we start heading out to the racing spot. On my way there I decide to play with a Fox-Body Saleen on the freeway, we go from 70mph and my car starts feeling funny[&:] and by the time I hit 150mph(Fox acouple football fields behind) my car won't go anymore so I get off the gas and it cuts off[:-]...WTF... I get off the freeway, turn it back on and immediatly I hear a knocking sound[sm=jawdrop.gif]....Its a valve[:@]......[sm=insomnia.gif]

So I woke up this morning and did the right thing,I went on RPMOUTLET.com and bought a pair of Ford Racing High Flow Heads *FMS-M-6049/50-T46... Now I can't decide on what cams to buy??? here are my options:

The cheapest way to go is with the FR Kit only $1599.95 for the whole kit, if I go for the Crowler Cams I'll have to purchase everything separately (retainers/valves/springs/followers) and will set me back alot more ....

Acouple other mods I'll be purchasing include:

62lbs injectors & harness
160lph fuel pump
Clutch (still haven't made up my mind on what kind to go with)

I don't know a 03/04 Cobra with a rough idle!!! .....That would sound great...

I guess I'll have to sacrifice and show the GTSlow some love....Auto[:'(]

 

that sucks man, well the rough idle would sound pretty sweet, but it might act funny with the S/C. The ford racing kit should kick some ***, and probably alot more constant throughout the RPM's

 

ah man that totally sucks. now you'll be burdened to drive one of your other 5 cars.

 

I'll be getting an HP Stage 3 Turbo kit for it by the end of August, it will all work out....900+RWHP is my goal

 

all i can is sweeeet on the up coming mods, be sure to post up some pics or video when you get the stage 3 turbo

 

I'll post a video of a 0- 160 run on it once its done just stay tuned.....9/15/06

NICE!! that will be badazz, you must have some serious chedda to spend, i cant imagine the insurance on all of those cars!
