Bird meet...(insert whatever animal a Camaro is)
So i believe the other night i finally discovered one of three things
A.] that free mods/ LM1 exhaust really do add to the speed of a car
or
B] an stock auto trans isnt the same as a stick
or
C.] fat people need to really buy slim fast
probably A though =]
So it was about 10pm on the nice straight roads of US 29. The lights are about evenly spaced a 1/4mile give or take a few feet.
So im on my way home from the gym and in the left lane at a stoplight, then i hear a horn and a "vroom vroom" and i look over and yes, theres this big bald dude [no offense if you're on this forum and happen to read this, you're cool
) in a TA and he nods a bit and revs up a lil more. I didnt hear anything more than waht sounded like a stock exhaust, but i jsut took a bit of a geuss and figured he atleast has a CAI. I really didnt want to race or do too much, since my engine still dad like 200miles on it (aka still being broke in), but w/e i couldnt resist (i heard a little ******* it is good for a break-in anyway...) so i put it into first and rev up to like 2400? green means go..so i went and obviously he did, within a few feet i looked over and you could see he was floorin it, the front end was lifted up a bit and at this point his nose was about where my passanger door ends and it was bye bye after that and finally i braked and he braked, he gave me the thumbs up and we went our seperate ways (i ended up doing a U-turn since in the process of it all i messed my turn )
so my question is,
wtf happened?
i dont think the basic mods i had would influence it that much... unless it was the new engine? less wear/tear

you are lighter than he is by a couple hundred lbs + his body weight difference
the pontiacs were more "luxurious" and therefore had a little extra weight

haha well then, i geuss it pays to not be a fat a$$ =]
oh andbtw, dont anybody get confused, both of ours were LT1, its not like he had a WS6 or anything lol.
