You guys are a trip - maybe 25HP difference and the 'Stang is 300 lbs lighter, and you think it's gonna be a slaughter? I tried out an '03 Mustang with the six before I bought my Camaro, and I have no doubtthey're close enough to come down to the driver. And oh yeah, why didn't you get a 2-1/2" or even 2-1/4" pipe instead of that big ole 3" monster? Who cares if you have to give back some HP, it will sound so much louder

when the 3800 can keep up with some early GTs... yea. it's a deffenate slaughter, even if he misses 3 shifts, and stalls twice. lol.

edit - early-mid 90's GTs....

Yeah, and a fat kid on a bicycle could keep up with the early GTs... and the early Zs too. That really proves a lot.

No, there is still a bunch of snow on the roads here in good old Nebraska. The plan is to race em on prom night so I can embarass him since he's been talking so much crap.
I went with the 3's to get better hp and mpg. I figured the sound wouldn't be too much different anyway since I am rockin the 3800.

I actually agree with you. The older GTs were pretty slow, but to say it was a drivers race between one and a v6 camaro is kind of a stretch. at 215hp/285ftlbs and 3200lbs (100 less than a v6 camaro) if the stang driver knows what hes doing at all hell win. now this is an older GT im talking about, it just happens to be that these cars are close enough that its not unheard of for a v6 camaro to take one down.

now with the mustang, there is only a 10 hp difference, and 5ft lbs, and the mustang weighs a little over 250lbs less. However, the ford autos are pretty crappy. I would consider this one pretty much a drivers race with the edge to the camaro
