Look at the cost of a 03 04 cobra. Around 20k give or take. Now look at a LS1 say a 2001 you can pick up a nice one for around 14K once again give or take. Put the extra 6K in a H/C package, gears,and the normal bolt ons and tuning and you have built a11 second careasy depending on your gears and cam.Hell there are guys runningmid12s with nothing more than Intake, Maf, Headers,good ruberand tuning and thatson the light end and it only ran around 2500 bucks.Thatsmore than a match even foralighty moded snake.

Almost match my ***. A set of 4.10s and a big cam even with out tuning will suck the 32valve in and spit it out. And thats only about 800 bucks in parts. As stated above it doesnt take alot to match the 32 valve SC. Yes its a mean car and they mod easy to a point, Most of there bolt ons free up alot of power, pully, tuning, injecters. But once you hit a point it becomes harder. A good example of this is cams. Ok are cams are not cheap look at the price for just one. Now think about buying four of them.

 

Apparently you like to pick on cars that can beat you. In that case you should go to a drag strip and you will find a whole bunch of cars that can beat yours. Heck, they even post the times so you can be sure to pick on one that will spank you. Line upagainst a nitro coupe and really get your **** walloped. LOL

 

All in All. It hurts me to say it but both the LS1 and the 32 valve both the SC and NA versions are good cars for the money. When it comes to the 2003-2004 they are alitle pricy in my bookand by putting the money you save into the ls1 you can take one with no problem and i think have a better car. Now if you go back to the late 90s you can now pick one of the old cobra's up for cheap say 6 or 7 grand is cheap for alot of car. And the same thing can be said about the LT1.

as i have said before, any car can be fast, it depends on how much cash you wanna spend on it. The Cobra will win till you spend money on your car and thats it. you will win if you pump money into yours, thats it i guess

 

hey rice...i only race a challenge i am not gonna race evey fart canned honda and put it upe here..whats the point....i like fast cars and if i come across one i am gonna provoke him just to see what his car goes.. come to mass and ill show u i can drive its not my fault i lose to a almost 500 hp cobra i could be al unser and get beat..
