see, what you do there, is buy a v6 and convert it to a V8, when the insurance company runs the vin numbers it will come up as a v6. thats what im doing with a firebird im getting.

 

the only bad thing about that is that insurance companys also look at the motor to see what you have inside. Well at least thats what they do here in texas

 

Yum, insurance fraud. I know I've got nothing better to do than serve some jail time after a wreck and insurance finds a v8 instead of 6...
In TN, you can go to the local courthouse and get a "Proof of Financial Responsibility" voucher so that you can legally drive without insurance. If one is so hard pressed that they would consider insurance fraud, just look for some loophole like this. It would be better than being fried by a big-company lawyer group...

 

Now just why would a guy with a Z28 even race a V6? You have nothing to gain and everything to lose. Think about it. Oh boy, I just kicked butt on a V6 or, heaven forbid, I just got My butt kicked by a V6. Sorry, I don't get it.

 

The reason I raced a V6 was because he thought he was all big and tail gating me and when I had a chance to spread my wings he wanted to show off again, but I kicked his ***. There is nothing to get... it was just a story.

 

Well question for ya....my friend in the car club drives a v6 mustang and i drive a modded 2.8 85 and i really want to race him and sometimes we fool around on trips but we both pull away from eachother at some point...who do you think would win?

Lol this story sounds somewhat familiar. I own a 96 Z28 and 80 percent of the time when I am driving thru a neighboring town this kid in a 97 V6 Camaro always revs it up at me and stares like he has something on my V8. So I rev it a little to show him that Ive got a V8 but he still seems to rev it at me. Im not going to race this kid b/c I know Id kill his car but I really dont know what to do. Any advice? Its getting quite annoying since he has only done it 5-6 times.
