My friend has a GSR and always giving me crap about not racing him b/c he thinks he will own me. I really dont like racing people for no reason. ( Racing spoiled *** rich boys in mustangs and imports with their g/f with them is my kinda reason, after the race his g/f realizes she was with the wrong guy) But I was just curious as who you all think would win and by how much?? We both have stock setups and both are manuals.

 

im pretty sure you didnt just as about a stock Intergra vrs a V8 hes got 170 horse and 128 torque you can beat him with your girlfriend his girl friend and two other chicks in your car.....

I knew I would win. 310Hp and 345TQ VS 170Hp and 128TQ just doesnt match up. But what I was also wondering was by how much I would win???

 

dont do a highway race though, you mite pull on him in 3rd and 4th, but im pretty sure in 5th and specially 6th he'd pull on you(they top out at like 180 on stock motor if govener is off), if it was a 1/4mile or a low rolling race, you'd smoke him like snoop dogg smokes blunts...

 

Even a bolted GSR will hardly pull 180 to the ground and no low end. This isnt even a match.

 

The neon bolt-on guys like to chew up an eat them. I'm pretty sure that unless you're racing in the snow uphill, you would win. Oh, and they won't do 180. My car is making around 250whp, and at a similar size car, I doubt I'd hit 160. Whoever told you that needs a little education, and has probably never been in a car that's faster than 15s.

 

I have yet another question, I've heard that the 96 LT-1 had a hotter cam then that of the 97. Is that true??
