this old guy took me by surprize, i didnt think he would run but i pulled on him. his front bumper was by my passanger door....... we shut down @ 70............
we stopped at the gas station up ahead and he has the............................................... .......................... 5.3L (325ci)/303 hp/323 lb-ft OHV 16-valve V-8
and i have a bone stock lt1 auto. i dont think it was a bad race figuing i have a 13 year old car.

Good run, but a race isn't decided to 70 mph. Gotta do at least 100 to see what each car has.
Those things are only 16 valve? Wow... I bet they probably have some great head swaps available to them in junkyards to make em really fly for not much money. Hmm... If they are making that much power stock, it would make a hell of a sleeper to do an engine swap on a base model and do a few upgrades. Make some cash on some street races.

Yea, good point. I had my car out there like 3 months ago. Turbo woudn't spool, and when it did I still couldn't make any power without cranking up the boost pressure. I brought tires out with me, but once I got there and realized how slow my car was, I didn't want to head out to Bandimere and run 15s... lol
