Well my buddy has a 95 Z28. We decided to race this morning for fun. I thought I'd get ripped cuz I got a 3.8 with a few mods... From a stand still, he had me by only 2 car lengths which surprised the hell outta me. Gotta love that suspension <3 But then we went from a 30 mph roll and I got a HUGE jump on him right outta the hole. He didn't catch me til about 85-90 mph.

So no I didn't win. But I didn't get rocked either heh. SOON!!!!

 

He started in 3rd.........lmao jk[8D]

 

I've raced BigNic in his 3800 before at an actual track...let's just say you probably got lucky...

Yeah, there is no way you should have beat him man, no offence, the 3.8 is a great motor, but not capable of beating the LT1... My GTP is highly modded, and when I raced one of my workers 95 Z28 I BARELY beat him, and he was bone stock... and we went to 140 or so MPH... and my lil sister, ( who is a GREAT driver BTW ) has an 02 3.8 Camaro with a few mods, and I rape her car with the GTP...

Nic, I never said anything bad about your car, I simply stated that a 3800 really isn't much of a match for an LT1. I believe we had a gap of at least 2 seconds in the 1/4, which is a pretty big gap.

 

Nic, put a blowe and a turbo on your car...then dont tell him lol...race him for pinks...lol

 

I'm doing a new top end that's going to result in around 400 RWHP pretty soon...so sure!
